Collection
Our collection includes around 450 pieces, including work by artists linked to Kumamoto, like SAKAINO Kazuyuki (director of the 2nd Ebihara Arts Laboratory), as well as other pieces, like clothing from the hill tribes of Thailand and a number of outdoor works on display around Tsunagi.
Outdoor sculpture
Tsunagi started its Greenery and Sculpture Community Building Project in 1984 and now includes 16 sculptures created by artists such as SATO Churyo on display throughout the town.
Outdoor Installations
To celebrate art year-round in Tsunagi, we hold multiple Art Projects throughout the year and put the artwork created on display at various locations in town.
